Replacing the Monocle: New Masters to be Viewed with Magnifying Glass, collaborative piece with artist Keaton Kilpatrick, is a collection of 3/4 in by 1/2 in classic art defaced and redefined. Meant to be displayed at a small enough size that the viewer is forced to use a magnifying glass, recalling and pointing out the absurdism of time when art was accepted only as a form of fine scholarship and then appreciated by only those within high society that could afford it.
Replacing the Monocle: New Masters to be Viewed with Magnifying Glass was exhibited at the Black Monday After Black Friday Art Show at Tellers in Lawrence, Kansas by Fresh Produce Art Collective.
